Time to clean out your closet for a good cause or two.
Through Feb. 10, shoppers can take in a gently used pair of jeans to Aéropostale and receive 20 percent off a new pair. Jeans will be donated to the Springs Rescue Mission as part of a clothing drive to benefit the homeless.
There are two local Aéropostale locations: The Citadel mall, 750 Citadel Drive East, and Chapel Hills Mall, 1710 Briargate Blvd. For more information, go to www.aeropostale.com.
Gloss, a boutique at The Shops at Briargate, is holding a similar clothing drive through March. 7. Take in at least two new or nearly-new items (such as a sweater and pair of shoes) and receive 10 percent off as many items as you took in.
Clothing taken to Gloss will be donated to the Women’s Resource Agency, a local nonprofit that runs the “Dress for Success” program to provide work clothes to low-income women.
For more information, call Gloss at 623-1652. |
